At Prestige Therapies, we use a cool head so the heat from the light does not harm your skin. The light travels through the skin until it strikes the roots of the hair, and as the light is absorbed, the hair shafts are heated and the hair-producing papilla are destroyed. This process should be repeated through roughly 8-10 treatments, in order to remove the most visible hair.

We recommend one treatment every 3-4 weeks to begin with for at least 8-10 treatments in that area to achieve optimum results. Once the re-growth slows down completely we recommend that you go into maintenance, with treatments every 6-8 weeks.
